quick sidenote…
Thanks to those who have been looking for a Wii Fit for me. I am STILL in the process of trying to secure one. Apparently trying to get one in Southern California is harder than trying to get a blowjob from Chelsea Clinton… seems that the Mario Kart Wii is also another item that stores can’t keep in stock. O_o
Anyway, thank you all. This fellow over on eBay I am hoping is going to lose his account. Cache and I were watching two auctions of his a couple of days ago and was noticing the “shill bidding” of a new account that had just been created around the time the new auctions went up AND made sure that the minimum winning bid was over a certain dollar amount. Reported!!!
But I am still looking… and even one of my clients has gotten in on the action. And from last word was that he was pretty close to securing one for me. So checkbook is in hand… ready to write out a check if he can get hold of one for me. ^_^

Tired… long weekend that really didn’t have anything really accomplished during it…
Saturday was a lazy morning with a trip up to Downtown Disney to have lunch with Milady’s mom who was in town for the weekend. Ate over at Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen since Catal’s didn’t really have a lunch menu but rather a tapas menu which didn’t seem to go over well with the group. Then after lunch it was a bit of a walk-through and purchase stuff at World of Disney before heading home due to the threatening look of the clouds overhead.
Milady’s mom did pick up a copy of the Ralph Brennan’s New Orleans Seafood Cookbook and I did a flip through it. I liked what I was… just had a difficult time with $50 for a book that had 170 recipes… and was over 400 pages. The majority of the book are photos of food :P
Actually, when I flipped through it more I was noticing certain things that actually appealed to me. So I might have to stop by there in the near future to pick up a copy instead of having to order it online and have to pay for the shipping and crap like that. ^_^
Came home… lounged about for a bit before Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Also was rocking the headsets on the laptop to listen in on a guild raid. Ended up spending some time over at Cache’s watching them try to take down Archimonde. They ran into a lot of issues but they are hoping to have him down soon.
Penguins looked like they didn’t know what the hell they were doing at the Stanley Cup Finals… blown out 4-0. But it gets worse… :P
Sunday: lazy day… it was a lounging day for everyone. Very little was accomplished anywhere…
Milady and I played WoW off and on… I did most of my daily quests and helped her out when possible with some of here characters. And that was about it…
Monday: Milady had to work that day but not until early afternoon. Cache and I did a quick run by Target looking for the Wii Fit and then to Vons for more Guinness since my keg place didn’t have any kegs in stock and we had to have Guinness for the Penguins game later on (to drown our sorrows in) and had to be back home in time to partake in my first Karazhan run which was supposed to be at 10am server time (which is a Pacific server)…
Got my food… got my mana and health potions… got my elixirs… got another set of armor in case they want healing done. And I’m camped outside the entrance to Karazhan. Missing a tank…
We are to try back again around 3:30pm… so I’m off to run the rest of my daily quests. You are allowed 25 daily quests per day… I am able to run 20 of them within a couple of hours depending on how well certain things go in terms of drops and whatnot.
3:30 comes along and it almost feels like there is nothing going to happen. It wasn’t until almost 4pm that we got things somewhat started and I was in the run. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was the first time I’ve ever done anything beyond a regular 5-man run. Made it through five boss fights before we hit a brick wall. I know I’m going to have to read up more on this Shade of Aran fight if I want to be able to continue into the instance but for the most part I was having a lot of fun just learning the mechanics of a raid and whatnot. As a boomkin all I really have to do is not die… and just spam the crap out of my spells to make mobs go down faster.
Ended up walking away that night with three epic pieces on my toon. The shoulders look pretty interesting compared to the rest of the outfit but don’t look bad. And I am ready for another shot at Karazhan ^_^
Penguins game… not so ready for another shot at seeing that debacle that took place last night. Seriously… it’s like Pittsburgh doesn’t know how to play the game anymore. Detroit is playing a very physical game and Pittsburgh doesn’t seem to know how to play that type of game. They have to turn this series around on Wednesday or the Stanley Cup will be hoisted by Detroit by the end of this week.
In other news…
A follow-up of sorts on my post from Friday. It seems the asshole eBay seller has now posted up two copies of the Wii Fit for auction. Two of them!!! I have reported fraudulent listings… let’s see what happens… if anything. I am so hoping that this asshole gets what’s coming to him. But I doubt it… because with my luck this seller will bullshit eBay and I’ll be made to look like the bad guy in the end. O_o
that is all for now… need to do some work…

what total bullshit…
So as people can figure out I have been trying to get my fuckin’ hands on a copy of Wii Fit. Stupid me thought it came out next month and didn’t pre-order it until I realized it was too bloody late.
So I had to face the pig fucking bastards of eBay to see if I could get hold of a copy… without paying that much more than I would if I were to buy it in the store. $89.99 price tag… plus 7.75% sales tax… about $97. Time and gas spent getting to the store… $10 tops (this store is REALLY far way!!!). My limit was $105 for bidding (taking into consideration shipping too).
I managed to get one on eBay for $85 + $17 shipping… $102 total. I promptly paid for my item… and then this morning I emailed the seller for shipping info.
An hour or so later I have an email from PayPal that my payment has been fully refunded with a note from the seller:
“There was a mix up and we accidently listed to many wii fits because amazon cut our order in half. Sorry for the inconvience.”
Bull fuckin’ shit… complete bullshit!!! First off… you’re a jackass who can’t use a spell-check. Secondly, Amazon notifies you how many of whatever item you had on order at the time of shipping so you know well in advance. Third, if you bought this via Amazon then I know that you just lost money on this deal doesn’t mean you can just back out of the auction with some lame excuse. Suck it up asshole… you gambled and lost. I won it fairly and now you want to pull this crap with me?
If you really didn’t have this item, then you should have immediately closed the auction and not allow the auction to end and payment sent out. PayPal now has a 3-4 Business Day Hold on my funds that could have been used elsewhere… but no… you had to be a little cunt about this whole thing.
If you do have this item and didn’t like the final price, then I guess you should have put a reserve on it then. But of course while I was going through the various auctions I would actively avoid any of them that had a reserve on them. I knew immediately that it was going to be much higher than I was willing to pay. Otherwise, suck it up and take the fuckin’ loss and figure it as a lesson learned.
If anyone of my friends were to pull that crap and I found out about it, they would not be friends of mine. Sorry, but you made a commitment by opening that auction and just because it didn’t end the way you wanted it to you had to be a little cunt in the end… and now I’m pissed off. Nice fuckin’ way to start the bloody long weekend.
EDIT: I have just filed a Non-Performance Complaint against the seller… this should be interesting to say the least. And negative feedback has also been left for this seller. That should wake him up that he can’t fuck around with shit like this…

A bonus to whomever gets this for me today…
Wii Fit to be found, bought and delivered to me today… I’m not going to be done with work until at least 4:30pm and no way in hell I’ll be able to track one down I don’t think by that time.
Obviously I’d pay the person back along with a bonus for the time spent and whatever else to get it. ^_^
And because someone asked what’s the rush for Wii Fit… I present my answer in video form…
WrathGlory seems to have struck out by hitting up the Fullerton & Brea area… so this should give me a damn good indication that this is going to be a pain in my ass to get hold of. Fuck you eBay sellers who are buying up all of them in order to put them up for more than twice their original price. Why the fuck didn’t you do this with GTA4? Or Halo 3? You went after the Wii Fit? Really?
